Living in the U.S.A.: Special Article: The Airport: Keeping Your Luggage SafeRobbery in the airport is a common crime. To keep your suitcases, briefcases, and pocketbooks safe, follow these few simple rules: Check-in lines. Always keep an eye on your baggage—especially your laptop computer. When you stand in line, remember that thieves often work together. While one thief stops to chat with you, the other may be stealing your bags. Shuttle buses. Some shuttle buses (buses to parking and car rentals) have a place to store your luggage; the place is usually right near the door. If you put your luggage there, be sure you can see it at all times; if not, keep your baggage with you. People may pick up the wrong bags by mistake. ----------------------- Hello!
